The California Parks Companies began operating our first concession inside Lassen Volcanic National Park. Today, operations have expanded to over 18 locations throughout California and Nevada. California Guest Services Inc. began its partnership with the National Park Service in 1974. This contract covered operation of all concessions in Lassen Volcanic National Park including Drakesbad Guest Ranch, the Lassen Peak Necessities Gift Shop, and Manzanita Lake Camper Service Store. This corporation has since grown to include campgrounds and boat launch facilities on Shasta Lake for the U.S. Forest Service in our Shasta Recreation Company division, and collaborated in the creation of our leased food service operations at the Café at Turtle Bay for the Turtle Bay Exploration Park in Redding, California.
